Project Zomboid Loot Finder (“this site”) is an unofficial, fan-made reference tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Indie Stone Limited, Project Zomboid, or any related rights holders.
Project Zomboid, Spiffo, related names, artwork, map data, item names, icons, and other game materials are trademarks or copyrighted works of their respective owners. They are used here only for identification, reference, and promoting interest in Project Zomboid, under the Indie Stone Terms linked above.
Loot data accuracy
Spawn locations, container lists, and chance percentages are derived from game data and shown as approximate guides—typically under default Normal loot settings. In-game sandbox options (loot rarity, zombie density, and similar), mods, and updates can change results. Nothing on this site guarantees what you will find in a save.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Use it at your own risk.
Privacy Policy
This site is a static reference tool. It does not require accounts and does not run a first-party user database.
What we store locally
The browser may keep short-lived data in localStorage /
sessionStorage (for example map handoff state, map point-of-interest layer
preferences, and cookie-notice preference) and may use the browser Cache API for
performance. You can clear this with “Clear site cache” on the main or map page.
Advertising
This site does not currently display third-party advertisements. If advertising is enabled later, this section will name the network(s) and describe what data they may process.
European Economic Area, UK, and Switzerland
If personalized advertising is added later, additional consent may be required depending on your location and the ad network’s requirements. Until ads are enabled, this site does not load ad scripts for personalization.
Other third parties
- Vercel Web Analytics — we use Vercel’s privacy-oriented analytics to understand aggregated traffic (for example page views). It does not use third-party cookies for visitor tracking. Visitors are identified by a short-lived hash derived from the request; session identifiers are discarded after about 24 hours. Data that may be associated with a page view includes timestamp, page URL, referrer, approximate geolocation (e.g. country/region/city), device type, and browser/OS. See Vercel Analytics privacy.
- Vercel Speed Insights — we may collect anonymous performance metrics (Core Web Vitals and related timing) to improve site speed. This is for performance monitoring, not advertising profiles.
- Google Fonts — the main page may load fonts from Google’s servers, which can receive your IP address and related request metadata.
- Hosting — the site is hosted on Vercel (and may load map/icon assets from related CDNs). Hosting providers process standard server/request logs (IP address, user agent, URLs, timestamps).
What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email, or account credentials through this site. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data.
Children
The site is a general game reference tool and is not directed at children under 13.
